When “Metro Exodus” was announced as a year-long exclusive for the Epic Games Store, some Steam users took to Reddit and other social platforms to express their disappointment. Still, it seems some PC players are not interested in using the Epic Games Store. The lengthy and complicated refund process at launch soon garnered complaints from users, and resulted in a change from Epic. Since its start in December, the Epic Games Store has not been completely without controversy. When compared to Steam’s 20% to 30% cut, the appeal is obvious for developers. The Epic Games Store offers developers a larger cut for their games, only taking 12% and leaving the remaining 88% of revenue for the game developers. You can earn extra cash and territory by completing shakedowns, but the big payouts occur on story missions. Shakedown: Hawaii is designed such that after you’ve completed the main story missions, you’ll have the resources to easily acquire the entire island. Shakedown: Hawaii, developed by Canadian studio Vblank Entertainment, is the spiritual sequel to Retro City Rampage. Titled “The Mogul Update”, it adds a bunch of features, fixes some bugs, and tweaks a few things to better steer the gameplay experience. The first big Shakedown: Hawaii update is out now on PC and PS4, and in certification for PS Vita and Nintendo Switch. The update fixes a number of small bugs as well as adds new dialogue to assist players in to playing the missions in order to earn money quicker. The 3DS version of the game is still on the way and will most likely have the update include before release. “The Mogul Update” is out now for PC and PS4 and currently is under certification and for Nintendo Switch and PS Vita.
